# Piknova privacy

> Images are processed in the visitor's browser and are not uploaded by default. What Piknova does collect is listed below.

Website: https://www.piknova.com

## Images

- Every tool runs in the visitor's browser by default, so an image is processed on their own device and is not uploaded. Only a run where the visitor picks a cloud option leaves the device.

## What is collected

- An email address, through Clerk, only if the visitor creates an account. No tool requires one.
- Basic usage analytics: which tools are opened and which actions are completed, through Google Analytics, PostHog, Ahrefs Analytics and DataFast. PostHog recordings hide text, form fields and images, and are kept for 30 days.
- An IP address, through the analytics, advertising and authentication providers.
- Anonymous tool ratings: a star rating, an optional note, a two-letter country code and a random ID stored in the browser. No name, email, account or precise location is attached.
- Ads are served by Google AdSense.

## Consent

- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, nothing that writes to the device runs before consent, and withdrawing consent stops it. A link in the footer reopens the choice.

## Processors

- Clerk (accounts), Supabase (database), Cloudflare (hosting) and Dodo Payments (merchant of record for sponsor payments).
